The actor and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally reacted to the ongoing movie ticket pricing issue in Andhra Pradesh. According to Balayya Babu, the government feels the movie lovers won’t come to theaters during the Coronavirus pandemic.
On the occasion of Thank You meet event of Akhanda, Balakrishna was asked to comment on the ongoing ticket pricing issue in AP, to which Paisa Vasool star said that the film industry ‘needs to come together’ to raise the concerns to Andhra Pradesh Government.
Balakrishna who is enjoying the success of Akhanda, added, “As an industry, we need to come together to solve the issue. We need to come and discuss the issue and place our concerns in front of the government. We should also understand that the govt makes good earning from the entertainment industry. I think that the govt is feeling that the movie lovers won’t come to theatres during the coronavirus pandemic.”
Akhanda is helmed by Boyapati Srinu and it has Pragya Jaiswal as the leading lady. The movie marked the third collaboration of Balakrishna and Boyapati after the Simhaa and Legend. On the otherside, Balakrishna will be next seen working under the direction of Gopichand Malineni which has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
