KGF 2 Theatrical Business Details

There were a lot of negative comments when it was announced that ‘KGF Chapter 1’ would be released on a pan-India level. Who watches Kannada movies at that level. Even those who criticized the producers were also there. But this movie became a huge blockbuster. Achieved the credit of providing double the profits in each area.

In some centers, it even played for 50 days. Mass audiences love this movie. Now ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has been martyred beyond that. Directed by Prashant Neil, the movie was released on April 14 and became a hit. However, this movie had a huge pre-release business while it was still in the shooting stage.

Since the movie got hit talk.. it got a huge place all over the world and got a place in the super hit list.

KTR comments on Adipurush: Prabhas starrer is being made to brainwash youngsters

Telangana Minister KTR has alleged that the BJP- Bharatiya Janata Party is using cinema to target the youth in India and mix the nationalism and the communalism. During an interview, KTR said that even the movies are not being spared from being used as tools to BJP’ agenda. He added that BJP is indirectly funding Prabhas starrer upcoming Pan India film Adipurush. They don’t fund the movies like The Kashmir Files and Adipurush directly.

KTR made comments on Adipurush in which Prabhas and Kirti Sanon are playing the lead roles under the direction of Om Raut. He added that around 16 movies are being made to spread the BJP’s ideology and Adipurush is one of them. The movies like URI – The Surgical Strike, The Kashmir Files and few movies of Akshay Kumar are being released to spread BJP’s Hindutva ideology.

The Kashmir Files, helmed by Vivek Agnihotri starring Anupam Kher is based on the killings and exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir valley. It was highly endorsed by the Bharatiya Janata Party government, with multiple BJP led states making the film tax free. It was highly controversial.

KTR suggested that Adipurush and other alleged pro-BJP films are being made to brainwash the youngsters.

KTR predicted that Adipurush might get a release during the election time so that it can influence voters and make them think about Lord Shriram.

KGF 2 at No 5 in the World with Total Gross – $114.93 Million

KGF 2 Box office Collections: Directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, KGF Chapter 2 continues its dream run at the box office and with collections of Rs 818.73 crore has become the 7th highest-grossing Indian movie, and crushed the collections records of Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 which had earned Rs 800 crore worldwide. Now according to the latest report, KGF 2 is at no 5 in the world with the total gross $114.93 Million. This news is confirmed by industry tracker Ramesh Bala by posting a tweet.

KGF 2 crosses $6 Million in North America

KGF 2 Box Office Collections: KGF 2, the action thriller drama, helmed by Prashanth Neel was released on 14th April in the original Kannada version and dubbed in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil, KGF Chapter 2 and is on record breaking spree. Now according to the latest report, the movie KGF 2 which has Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, has crossed $6 Million in North America. The action drama has emerged as a blockbuster at the global box office.

The movie which also has Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in the supporting roles, is having a phenomenal run at the box office not just in India, but abroad also. The tickets for the Prashanth Neel directorial are selling like hotcakes as it has already collected above Rs 7500 crore at the worldwide box office.

KGF 2, Jersey, RRR, Beast Box office Collections: Jersey, the sport based drama in which Shahid Kapoor is playing the lead role, is a remake of Telugu film of same title which was released on 22nd Friday and received mixed response by the movie lovers and the critics on its opening day. Now according to the latest report, yesterday Jersey earned $51,885 at the box office of USA and because fail to crush the collections record of Yash starrer action thriller drama KGF 2 that earned $174,446. List of Telugu celebs who land in legal trouble for violating traffic rules

Hyd Police has launched a campaign to get rid of black tints from the vehicles. The use of black films has been banned in the country ever since 2012. Telugu filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas, Kalyan Ram, Young Tiger Jr NTR, and Manchu Manoj also landed in legal trouble for a similar reason.

Allu Arjun: Icon star Allu Arjun, who was seen in Pushpa: The Rise, was recently embroiled in some legal troubles. He was fined in Hyderabad for breaking traffic rules. The actor was asked to pay a fine for violating the rules. His Land Rover Range Rover luxury SUV had tinted glass, which is not allowed. For the same, he had to pay Rs 700 as a fine. Few days ago, he was stopped by the traffic police on a busy road in Hyderabad for the tinted window shields.

Naga Chaitanya: Recently Naga Chaitanya was halted by the cops. He had to pay a challan of Rs 700 for using tinted windows on his car.

Jr NTR: Few days ago, Hyderabad Police removed the black film from Jr NTR’ car . Jubilee Hills Traffic Inspector Muthu inspected the vehicles and identified the car belonging to Jr NTR and pulled out the black film

Kalyan Ram: Kalyan Ram was also fined by Hyderabad traffic police.

Manchu Manoj : Manchu hero was caught by the Hyderabad Traffic police recently, as he violated the traffic rules. His car was stopped in Hyderabad after the police noticed tinted window shields. Manchu Manoj was fined by the Hyd police for using a tinted black film.

Now according to the traders report, the Hindi version of KGF 2 minted Rs 44 Crs on 15th April and crushed the records of RRR that earned Rs 3 Crs on the second day whereas Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer Beast collected Rs 15 Lakhs.

The industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing the collections figures of KGF 2, RRR and Beast on his Twitter.

KGF: Chapter 2 got an overwhelming response at the box office. It is a sequel to the film of the same name, produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Apart from the lead actors, the movie also has versatile actor Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, John Kokken and Saran are seen in supporting roles.

Beast crosses Rs 100 Crs in just 2 days

Beast Box Office Collections: Beast, the much hyped action drama which has Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles, was released on 13th April 2022 and received the mixed response on its release day. Now according to the latest update, Beast has earned Rs 100 Cr gross at the worldwide box office in just 2 days. The industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing a post on twitter: in 2 days, Beast has crossed Rs 100 Crs gross at the WW Box office.

In Tamil Nadu, the movie Beast which is helmed by Nelson has crushed the first day collections record of Sarkar that minted Rs. 32.84 c on its opening day with a margin of Rs 5 cr. The new opening record has come on a non-holiday. Here is the opening day box office collections of Beast is as follows:

Tamil Nadu – Rs 37 Cr approx

Karnataka – Rs 7.50 cr

AP/TS – Rs 8 cr

Kerala – Rs 6.50 cr

North India – Rs 2 cr

KGF: Chapter 2 Movie Review: Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer action thriller movie KGF: Chapter 2 has hit the theaters today on 14th April 2022. Let’s see the story of KGF 2.

Story: The movie starts with the narration of Vijayendra Vasiraju (Prakash Raj). Rocky Bhai has won over the people of KGF and now he is in the process of dreaming bigger and treading more dangerous paths. He encounters Adheera, who is inspired by the Vikings and evokes visceral fear, who wants KGF back. He also has to encounter the Prime Minister Ramika Sen, who also wants Rocky Bhai to take down. What happens next, form rest of the story of KGF: Chapter 2.

Performance: Once again, Yash has given fantastic performance and wins the hearts of the viewers. His style and body languages are appreciable. Srinidhi Shetty continues the same and she has got nothing much. Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Rao Ramesh, and Prakash Raj are new additions to the film. Prakash Raj as narrator does good job. Sanjay Dutt looks menacing and powerful in the role of Adheera, and he delivers his best. Raveena Tandon justifies with her role. She is playing an aggressive person. She as the Prime Minister also has a good track. Rao Ramesh Rao Ramesh as the CBI officer is good, and the rest of the cast are ok

Technical: The music composer Ravi Basrur gives background score with aplomb But it is too loud in a few scenes. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda does superb job. The cinematography work is highlighted. The editing is fine. The production values of Hombale Films are grand. The tragic mother sentiment song is instantly followed by the duet Rocky and Reena. The action episodes are superb. Rao Ramesh as the CBI officer. The dialogues -Mongoose in Snake and Ladder game, the CEO of India, Powerful people make places powerful, are highlighted.

Analysis: The movie lovers who want to watch a loaded action film with style, heavy duty stunts and dialogues, go and watch Prashanth Neel’ KGF : Chapter 2.

KGF: Chapter 2 USA Premiere collections

KGF : Chapter 2 Collections: KGF 2 starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt has hit the theaters today on 14th April Worldwide in a very grand manner. The film had its premiere on 13th April. According to the traders report, KGF: Chapter 2 has collected $800K+ from USA Premiere and the counting is still on. The industry tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the same by sharing a post on Twitter: Among this week’s new Indian releases, #KGFChapter2 has opened to Best premiere in USA $800K+ and counting… No premieres for Hindi.

The much hyped movie KGF 2 is helmed by Prashanth Neel. It is all about the story of Raja Krishnappa Bairya aka Rocky Bhai who becomes the ruler of KGF. But as he decides to own the world, he finds big foes in the form Adheera and Ramika Sen.

The trades are predicting that KGF Chapter 2 will surpass its prequel’s lifetime Hindi collection on the release day itself.

Few days ago Ramesh Bala had tweeted, “KGF Chapter 1 Hindi version collected 40-45 crores in its lifetime, and going by the earth-shattering advance booking records, KGF Chapter 2 will definitely cross chapter 1 lifetime collection on the 1st day by earning a minimum of Rs 43-45 cr from North India.”
