NTR to sell milk!

NTR: Kathanayakudu‘, the first part of NTR biopic, which created lot of buzz in the film industry before the release, is giving shock to everyone now as the collection rate of the movie is below par. ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu‘ was arrived on the theaters on 9th January and received positive response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day but the  the collection of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan starrer is not up to the mark. Krish’s directorial venture  raked in mere Rs 10.50 Cr shares from both Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in its 5 days which is too low for a Balakrishna movie.  The few audiences are also criticizing Krish who tried to hide may truths and facts about Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Few people are also giving suggestion to Krish that ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’ should start from Nimmakuru episode as well where NTR sold milk before getting the job.

 Finally Krish has reacted and assured that the audiences will get to watch NTR selling milk in Nimmakuru. Recently during the media interaction, Krish said, “NTR will be seen selling milk in Nimmakuru in Mahanayakudu. Not only this the viewers will also watch NTR playing the role of lead in Viswanatha Satyanarayana’s drama during college days which won him the fame as Meesala Nagamma”.

 When Krish was asked about the collections report of ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’, the National award winning director did not make any comment. This time Krish is confident that NTR Mahanayakudu will be a successful box office venture.

After delivering woman centric movie Bhaagamathie, Baahubali fame Anushka Shetty is making her comeback in film industry with a thriller drama Silence.  We have already reported that Kollywood actor Madhavan is playing the lead role. Now according to the latest update, the makers have roped two actresses- Anjali and Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey in this upcoming drama to play the pivotal role. The regular shoot of the film is expected to commence from March in US.

Arjun Reddy girl Shalini Pandey is on signing spree. Shalini Pandey is currently busy in her upcoming movies Gorilla and Agni Siragugal. Apart from these movies, she will also be seen in Nandamuri Kalyanram starrer 118.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun has joined the hands with Trivikram Srinivas for an upcoming untitled film. Now according to the latest rumour, Allu Arjun will be seen playing double role in this upcoming drama.

NTR Kathanayakudu, the biopic of Nandamuri Taraka Rao starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan has created the record at the box office. According to the latest update, ‘B’ centre Mandapeta, Krish’s directorial venture NTR Kathanayakudu has  collected a share of Rs.159 only on day four of its release. This lowest collection has created a record.

NTR Kathanayakudu is based on the life of the former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NTR and highlights the essence of his life. The movie was arrived in the theatres on 9th Janaury 2019 and opened to a positive response at the box office but the collection rate is disappointing the distributors. The first-part of NTR biopic showcases NTR’s struggle in the film industry and his rise to stardom. Nandamuri Balakrishna is one of the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry today.

 According to the traders report, NTR Kathanayakudu, has collected $794,117 at the US box office in four days. NTR Kathanayakudu impressed people in the international market, but it is receiving lukewarm responses from both Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Vinaya Vidheya Rama released on 11th January amid much fanfare. Several theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana had special shows starting as early as 2 AM in the states. Though the film opened to a great response at the box office, it is heading towards a disaster.

In RTC X Roads, Hyderabad, Ram Charan starrer Vinaya Vidheya Rama made around Rs 15 lakhs on its opening day, while it minted only Rs 5 lakhs on its second day. So far, the film Vinaya Vidheya Rama has grossed Rs 21 lakhs in the area.

It is the same case in other locations in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In Dharmavaram, Boyapati Srinu’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama minted Rs 9 lakhs on its 1st day and only Rs 2 lakhs on its 2nd day.

According to the trade analyst jeevi, Ram Charan starrer VVR made about Rs 14 lakhs on its third day in USA, with a total (2 days gross) of Rs 1 crore.
