Liger release date locked: The young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda who is known for playing the lead role in Arjun Reddy, Geetha Govindam, Taxiwaala and Dear Comrade is currently working with Puri Jagannadh of ismart Shankar and Pokiri fame for an upcoming sport based drama Liger, which is one of the much hyped movies of film industry. The film has Ananya Panday as the leading lady and the movie marks her debut in Telugu film Industry.
Today morning the makers of Liger confirmed that Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer film will be released on 25th August. As it is a multilingual drama it will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Before that, a special glimpse is coming to enthral the movie lovers on 31st December 2021.
Puri Jagannadh’ magnum opus Liger marks Vijay Deverakonda’ debut in Hindi film industry. The film which has boxing legend Mike Tyson in the crucial roles, is being bankrolled by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta in association with Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur.
Rowdy hero Vijay Deverakonda became a household name with the success of the Telugu film Pelli Choopulu which was arrived at the theaters in 2016. The actor won critical acclaim for his portrayal of a h*t-headed surgeon in the film which was helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
