The social media network ‘Truth Social’ has been developed by the former president Donald Trump which is like the Twitter. It was streamed live on the iOS app store in the U.S on account of Presidents Day which is being celebrated on 21st February.
The official website of Truth Social app is loading recurrently but accepting names and email addresses of the users. In lieu of automatic upgrading users to a more secure HTTPS session, it served the page to users over an HTTPS connection in Chrome and Safari. The new app supports HTTPS but it needs to be typed in at the beginning of the URL manually.
The site includes a public commitment to open-source principles, a concession from its earlier conflict with the Mastodon project. After installation of the app, some problems have also occured. Some users who signed up through the site have been shown blurry, “Something went wrong” error messages.
Other users reported that they have been put on a waitlist ascribing to huge demand. A Washington user said his verification email was failed to arrive.
The posts in the Truth Social app are called as “Truths”, just like “tweets” in Twitter. The “Truths” are shown to users on a “Truth Feed”. If anyone want to share the ” Truths” with followers, then they can “ReTruth” it. The app is being directed by the former representative Devin Nunes. Since December, this app was in beta science, which has been using utilizing by over 500 users.
The app was sophisticated by Trump Media and Technology Group. It is in the expectations that the service would be fully operational by March month end. Soon, the app will be available on the Google Play Store.
