If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Poorna will be seen working with Venkatesh Daggubati in an upcoming Telugu film Drushyam 2, which is remake of Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam 2. Poorna will play a crucial role in this film Drushyam 2.
Years ago, Venkatesh Daggubati had reprised the role Mohanlal played in the original for Drishyam and now he is playing the lead role in its sequel. The thriller Drushyam 2 will go on sets soon and shooting will resume once Venkatesh wraps up shooting for his ongoing projects. The official confirmation regarding the inclusion of Poorna in this film Drushyam 2 is awaited.
The reports are also coming that The Ghazi Attack and Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati has been approached to reprise Murali Gopi’ role and he is all set to join the sets by the end of this month. The official announcement regarding the entire cast and crew of this upcoming Telugu movie Drushyam 2 will be made soon.
Currently Poorna is working with Nandamuri Balakrishna in an upcoming action drama #BB3, which is directed by Boyapati Srinu. She was recently seen as the antagonist in the young actor Raj Tarun starrer Power Play which was released last friday. She plays a ruthless politician and received applause for her role.
