Pooja Hegde, one of the top actresses, already does have the biggest hits in her kitty. ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ cemented her position as the top heroine but she is facing stiff competition from Kannada girl Rashmika Mandanna who is equally popular and grabbing big Telugu films.
Ala Vaikunthapurramloo fame Pooja Hegde was seen in homely roles in her first two films and neither of the movies was successful. Soon, the actress changed her game plan and shed all the inhibitions to showcase her glamour and made a ravishing comeback with Allu Arjun starrer DJ. Since then, there was no looking back for Pooja and she has acted with major star heroes like Allu Arjun, Superstar Mahesh Babu, and Young Tiger Jr NTR. But Pooja Hegde is now getting tough competition from Rashmika Mandanna.
Before stepping into acting, Pooja Hegde was a beauty pageant contestant. DJ girl was runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 competition and later she made her entry in the film industry with the Tamil film Mugamoodi, which released in the year 2012.
As Karnataka crush Rashmika Mandana is also bagging big offers in film industry, Pooja Hegde feels she is her main competitor. So, Pooja Hegde cannot relax now.
Pooja Hegde has big budget project ‘Radhe Shyam’ and Akhil Akkineni starrer romantic film ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’. Rashmika Mandanna who is busy in ‘Pushpa’, is in talks with two Telugu projects.
