Ayodhya born Lavanya Tripathi has achieved a new feat on Instagram. According to the latest update, Lavanya Tripathi’ Instagram account has clocked over 2 million followers. The actress also has more than a million followers on Twitter and another 2.6 million followers on Facebook.
After winning the Miss Uttarakhand title in the year 2006, Lavanya Tripathi entered the film industry in 2012, with the Telugu film, Andala Rakshasi, in which she worked with Naveen Chandra. For this film, Lavanya earned critical acclaim for her performance as Midhuna and won the Best Debutante Award.
Later she starred in Doosukeltha which also proved to be successful. In 2014, she made her entry in Tamil film industry and made her debut in with Brahman where she played an aspiring journalist, Gayathri. Her next Telugu project was romantic and comedy movie Bhale Bhale Magadivoy with Natural Star Nani.
Lavanya Tripathi is currently working for upcoming film Chaavu Kaburu Challaga with Karthikeya in which she is essaying the role of Mallika. The upcoming film is said to be a dark comedy that narrates the story of a graveyard worker called Basthi Balaraju, who seems dissatisfied with the life he is leading. And she is also romancing with Sundeep Kishan in sport based movie A1 Express.
