We have already reported that the young actor Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is set to make his Hindi film debut with the remake of S S Rajamouli’ directorial venture “Chatrapathi” in which Baahubali and Saaho fame Prabhas played the lead role. Now it has been officially confirmed that noted director VV Vinayak has been brought on the board to launch Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in Bollywood with Chatrapathi remake.
The remake will be produced by Jayantilal Gada under the banner of Pen Studios. The producer said, “Chatrapathi is a great script and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is fit for this film.”
Chatrapathi is all about the story of a young man who is in search of his family he lost. The original version features Prabhas, Shriya Saran, Venu Madhav, Pradeep Rawat and Bhanu Priya. Chatrapathi remake marks a reunion for Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and VV Vinayak . In past they have worked together for the movie Alludu Seenu, which launched Bellamkonda as an actor in the Telugu film industry.
SS Rajamouli’s father Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the original, is currently working on the script of the Hindi remake. The sources say that he had made some changes to the script to suit the Hindi sensibilities.
