Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most sought-after actresses in India. Currently she is basking in the glory of her recently released movie Pushpa: The Rise in which she romanced Allu Arjun under the direction of Sukumar. Here is the list of the films that Rashmika Mandanna rejected.
Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey: Shahid Kapoor starrer sport based drama is the remake of Telugu film of same title in which Nai and Shraddha Srinath played the lead roles. Rashmika Mandanna was initially offered to play the female lead in Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey but she turned down the offer as she couldn’t allot dates for the film.
Kartik Aryan starrer Kirik Party remake: It is known that Rashmika made her debut in the Kannada film industry with Kirik Party. And the movie is now being remade in Hindi starring Kartik Aaryan. When Rashmika Mandanna was approached for the same, she rejected the offer.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali untitled film: Before Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had planned to do a film with Rashmika Mandanna and Randeep Hooda. But when Sanjay offered the role, Rashmika said no to him.
Shankar and Ram Charan RC 15: Rashmika Mandanna was the first choice of RC15 but when she rejected the movie, the role of female lead fell in the lap of Kiara Advani.
Vijay starrer Master: Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was released in January 2021, became a blockbuster hit. Before Malavika Mohanan, the makers were in talks with Rashmika Mandanna. But she said no for this actioner.
