Dhruv Vikram, the son of Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram, made his debut with Varma, the official remake of Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda, which was a decent hit movie. It is known news that he has teamed up with Karthik Subbaraj for a film which also has his father Vikram. Now according to the latest update, Dhruv Vikram has signed his third film with the director Mari Selvaraj, in which he is playing a kabaddi player.
Dhruv Vikram and Mari Selvaraj film is based on a true story of a Kabaddi player who clawed his way from the rural hinterland of Tamil Nadu-TN and finally wins the nation’s highest sports honor and gold for his country at the Asian Games.
During the media interaction Mari Selvaraj said that Dhruv Vikram starrer is based on the life story of a sportsperson and this is going to showcase their lives in a raw and lively manner which has not been shown in Kollywood before.
The director Mari Selvaraj had recently wrapped up the shoot for his forthcoming Karnan, which has Tamil star Dhanush in the lead role. Mari Selvaraj made his directorial debut with the movie Pariyerum Perumal, which was bankrolled by Pa Ranjith that had Kathir and Anandhi in the lead role and the music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
