The film director, cinematographer and former photo journalist KV Anand who is known for working in Tamil film industry passed away on 30th April due to massive stroke. He took his last breath today morning at 3 am. KV Anand won the National Film Award for the  Best Cinematography for his debut movie Thenmavin Kombath as a cinematographer. He turned film director with  the movie Kana Kandaen in 2005 and his second film Ayan was a  blockbuster at the box office.  u out to be a Blockbuster Ayan.

 KV Anand started his career as a photo journalist,  and later  he started to  assist noted cinematographer PC Sreeram in films such as Gopura Vasalile, Meera, Devar Magan,  Amaran and Thiruda Thiruda.

KV Anand worked in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. As a director, he made Rangam, Brothers, Anekudu, Veedokkade and Bandobast. KV Anand was 54.  The celebrities such  Cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan, Music director Harris Jayaraj, actor Gautham Karthik and others from the film industry have been tweeting in condolence after the news broke, expressing shock over his sudden demise of KV Anand.

KV Anand was the founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers.
