Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases and lockdown across the country, many Telugu films like Love Story, Virata Parvam, Acharya, F3. Akhanda, Narappa have been postponed indefinitely. In the month of April, Mega prince Varun Tej announced that the shooting for his sports based drama Ghani has been halted as a precautionary measure. Loafer fame actor, began shooting for the film earlier this year.
Ghani, in which Varun Tej is playing a boxer, is being helmed by Kiran Korrapati, has Saiee Manjrekar as the leading lady. Apart from them, the movie also has Upendra, Suniel Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and Nadhiya in the crucial roles.
Ghani is jointly bankrolled by Siddu Muddu and Allu Bobby. Now according to the latest buzz in the film Industry, all is not well between the producers of Ghani. The sources say that the makers of Ghani erected a Rs 50 lakh worth set, but that was dismantled without shooting. And the reason behind it was the differences between the producers.
On the otherside, Kiran Korrapati is refuting the claim by saying that the set was demolished after Varun Tej complained of hand pain.
Varun Tej is playing the role of a boxer in the film Ghani and he underwent intensive training to fit into the role.
