Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Puri Jagannadh’s pan-India film, Liger, in which he is playing the role of a boxer. The action and romantic drama has Ananya Pandey as the leading lady. Recently Vijay landed in Mumbai for the film’s new schedule. Bollywood producer Karan Johar is presenting this film in Hindi while Charmme Kaur is bankrolling it under ‘Puri Connects’ banner. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijay Deverakonda has decided to dub for his character for Liger in his own voice.
Apparently, it was on Karan Johar’s insistence that Vijay Deverakonda has decided to lend his voice for his role instead of hiring a dubbing artist. Using another person’s voice may take the X-factor away from the actor’s performance and this is the reason why he decided to dub for himself in Hindi.
Arjun Reddy and World Famous Lover fame Vijay Deverakonda has undergone vigorous training for the film Liger and built his body for the same. He worked out at home during lockdown and has often been spotted at the gym before that. The upcoming action drama Liger is expected to be a full on action entertainer complete with commercial elements.
