Yesterday we reported that young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda announced a contribution of Rs 1.3 Cr to his The Deverakonda Foundation (TDF) to help the middle class in crisis, who have lost jobs due to the crashing economy. After this Kartikeya, who is popular for playing the lead role in Ajay Bhupathi’ directorial venture Rx 100, donated Rs 1 lakh to the cause. Kartikeya took to his Twitter and announced his donation and said, “Middle class suffering and unemployment are the biggest threat to us now. From my side I contribute Rs.1 lakh to MCF. I request everyone to donate how much ever possible through The Devarakonda Foundation (TDF).
Arjun Reddy star Vijay Deverakonda replied to Kartikeya and said, “Darling. 100+ Families will be reached with your support to Middle Class Fund- MCF. Bigg hug.”
Vijay Deverakonda has also said that this fund will help buy groceries and other essentials for many middle class families who are suffering because of the lockdown. The relief operations are already being carried out in both Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to Vijay Deverakonda, he has a proper team and system to help the people.
Kartikeya was last seen in Gang Leader, in which Natural Star Nani played the lead role.
