Kama Sutra actor Ranjit Chowdry died

Ranjit Chowdry, an actor, who is known for his roles in tv and theatre,  and has been the part of few popular movies such as Kama Sutra : A Tale of Love, Khubsoorat, I’m Not Rappaport, Prison Break, King of the  Jungle,  Basu Chatterjee’ Khatta Meetha and Baaton Baaton Mein has passed away on 15th April amid the coronavirus lockdown, in the age of 65. The reason behind the actor Ranjit’ death is yet to be known.

Ranjit is best known for his roles in Baton Baton Mein, Mississippi Masala and few other movies, and the actor breathed his last on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Raell Padamsee, the half sister of Ranjit Chowdry, took to Instagram to share the news of his demise.  She shared a pic of Ranjit and said, “The funeral will be held tomorrow and a gathering to celebrate his life and share his stories on 5th May.”

Ranjit Chowdhry who was born on September 19, 1955, made his debut with Hindi movie Khatta Meetha, which was released in 1978.

 His mother, Pearl Padamsee, was a theatre artist, drama teacher and actress on stage and film. His stepfather, Alyque Padamsee ,was also a theatre actor and director who also headed an advertising company in Mumbai.
