Venkatesh fingering in Asuran Script?

Venkatesh Daggubati is on the board to act in an upcoming Telugu film, which is a remake of Tamil blockbuster movie Asuran. Recently in an interview, Suresh Babu has also confirmed that Srikanth Addala will helm Asuran remake for Venkatesh. Dhanush and Manju Warrier starrer Asuran is a rustic period village drama and the makers of the Telugu version are making enough changes to suit the sensibilities of Telugu audiences. Apparently, Venkatesh himself is taking special care and is suggesting some key changes to the script of Asuran.

The sources say that Venkatesh Daggubati is fingering in the script currently. Venkatesh is also said to have suggested several changes and some of the episodes are changed completely considering the taste of the Telugu audience. It is being heard that Srikanth will spend the complete December on the script work and if everything will go accordingly, the movie will go on the floor after Sankranthi 2020.

The makers of Asuran remake are also in the hunt for new faces to play a crucial role in this upcoming film of Venkatesh starrer.

The pre-production work has been started. Suresh Babu and Asuran’s producer Kalaipuli S Thanu will be jointly producing the movie. Asuran, based on popular Tamil novel Vekkai, turned out to be a blockbuster in Kollywood with over Rs 100 crore in gross earnings. Srikanth Addala is keen on roping in Anushka Shetty for this de-glam role but Suresh Babu is planning to bring Shriya Saran on the board to play the female lead. The talks are in the final stages and an announcement regarding this will be made soon.

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has collaborated with Geetha Govindam fame director Parasuram for an upcoming untitled project, which is expected to go on the floor in the month of May next year. The ace director Parasuram has been idle from the past one and half years after which he signed a film. The upcoming film of Naga Chaitanya and Parasuram will be bankrolled by Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta under the banner of 14 Reels Plus. According to the latest update, the upcoming film is going to be made on the budget of Rs 50 Cr. Parasuram will be getting Rs 8 Cr whereas Naga Chaitanya will be getting Rs 7 Cr remuneration to act in this film.

It is also being said that the Naga Chaitanya and Parasuram film will be hitting theatres next year itself. However, neither the actor nor the director has come up with any official word regarding this upcoming project. But the sources close to the Naga Chaitanya have revealed that the makers are planning to make an official announcement regarding this project after the finalization of the female lead. The production house 14 Reel is also ready to pay Rs 8 Cr remuneration to Parasuram and Rs 7 Cr to Naga Chaitanya.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya is busy with the works of the Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming untitled directorial venture which has Sai Pallavi alongside him. Rumor has it that this upcoming romantic film is titled ‘Love Story’. According to reports, the Naga Chaitanya starrer Love Story will be hitting theatres early next year.

On the other side, Naga Chaitanya is prepping up for the release of his next movie, Venky Mama which has Venkatesh Daggubati, Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput in the lead roles. Recently Suresh Babu revealed that Venky Mama will be released on 13th December but according to the latest buzz, the movie will arrive at the theaters on 25th December.

It was a star-studded evening in Hyderabad where Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy actor Chiranjeevi hosted the 10th annual reunion of 1980s actors. Around 40 celebrities from Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi film industries attended the party. Just like every year, there was a dress code this year too, and celebs at the 80s reunion bash were seen in gold and black attire.

The heinous murder of veterinary doctor Priyanka Reddy has sparked a national outcry. The 26-year-old, Priyanka Reddy who went missing on Wednesday night, was found charred to death in Telangana. Several celebrities and politicians have expressed grief over this incident and demanded justice to the victim. South Indian actress Anushka Shetty took to Instagram to share an emotional note. Though Baahubali star Prabhas maintained silent his costar Anushka Shetty has reacted in a very strong manner. Anushka Shetty posted a very angry message on her Facebook and Instagram, saying being a woman is a crime in today’s society.

Anushka Shetty also stated that such ghastly criminals should be harshly punished. Four men have been detained in Priyanka Reddy’s rape and murder case and an investigation is on regarding this case.

The entire Telugu film fraternity expressed their shock and anger regarding the brutal rape and murder of Priyanka Reddy on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Priyanka who had gone missing on Wednesday night was found dead on Thursday morning and her burnt body was found at a distance of 30 km from where her two-wheeler had suffered a flat tyre.

Not only Anushka Shetty, several other divas like Keerthy Suresh, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Yami Gautam, Raashi Khanna, Lavanya Tripathi, but Mehreen and others have also reacted over the incident of rape and murder of Priyanka Shetty.

Prabhas and Anushka Shetty are good friends and currently, both are working for their upcoming projects. Anushka Shetty is waiting for the release of her upcoming silent thriller drama Nishabdham whereas Prabhas is getting ready to start the shoot of his next romantic saga Jaan, which will be helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar.

The sources say that Chiranjeevi and his family members are trying to buy 18th-century wall cupboards made of wood and glass and used by Nizami rulers. Mega family is planning to fly Singapore and participate in an auction.

The 18th-century wall cupboard which is made of glass and wood is being auctioned in Singapore by artifacts reseller, and it is heard that Chiranjeevi is trying to buy it out at a reasonable price.

The 25,000-plus sq feet house of Chiranjeevi is located near Dr. MCR HRD Institute, in Jubilee Hills. It is designed by Tahiliani Homes, an interior and architectural firm from the Design House of Tarun Tahiliani, India’s renowned fashion designer. Chiranjeevi’s house is a great showcase of the best of India’s heritage. The designer Tarun Tahiliani said, “The whole house of Chiranjeevi is a showpiece, a showstopper. The Konidelas are down-to-earth people and they wanted Indian history and heritage in their home.”

Chiranjeevi’s new house has a local touch because of the Hyderabadi Nizami motifs used across the house. On the work side, Chiranjeevi is getting ready to start the shoot of his upcoming film, which will be directed by Kortala Siva and Ram Charan is working with SS Rajamouli for RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya and the movie will hit the theaters on 30th July 2020.
