The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Directorate of Enforcement Vigilance and Disaster Management (EV&DM) has imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh to Telugu actor Mohan Babu for setting up unauthorized advertisement posters of the movies on the walls of his Jubilee Hills residence in Film Nagar.
The GHMC officials issued a notice to the veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu and mentioned that the violation is ‘erection of the unauthorized advertisement element above 15 feet in height from ground level.’
A challan to this effect has been issued by the GHMC. The officials said that the fine was imposed for setting up a notice board without any permission. According to the official, it was an offence under t relevant sections to set up such a hoarding without any permission. Hence, GHMC imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh under the GHMC Act.
On the work front, Mohan Babu will be seen playing the lead role in an upcoming film The Son of India, which is inspired by the true events from the Telugu states. The movie is directed by Diamond Ratnababu and backed by Vishnu Manchu under the banner of Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory. The film also has Srikanth, Tanikella Bharani and Ali in the supporting roles.
