SS Rajamouli is currently working for the much hyped movie RRR which is bringing the two top stars of Tollywood- Jr NTR and Ram Charan together on a screen. This is the first time, Ram Charan and Tarak are working together for a movie. SS Rajamouli has made some interesting statements during his interaction with popular Bollywood critic Rajeev Masand. When Rajamouli was asked about the pressure of handling two of the biggest Tollywood stars – Jr NTR and Ram Charan in his directorial venture RRR, to which the film maker replied that in his childhood, whenever he read comics, he always used to wonder what if Spider Man and Superman came together.
Bollywood journalist and critic Rajeev Masand had an interview through video call with SS Rajamouli. The RRR helmer revealed, “Jr NTR and Ram Charan are from two traditionally rival families. Both are good friends and even I have worked with them in the past. Everything just fell into the right place for upcoming big budget project RRR.”
About RRR, Rajamouli revealed that it is about two revolutionary leaders Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetaramaraju. They left their homes during their 20s, participated and revolted against the British and the Nizams. We connected the dots and RRR is about two friends who revolted against the British.”
