When the makers of upcoming much hyped movie Thalaivi released the first look poster of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa, few months ago, she was trolled on the social media sites. Today on the occasion of Jayalalithaa’ birthday, the makers of Thalaivi released a new poster that features Kangana Ranaut as young politician Jayalalithaa.
The national award winning actress Kangana Ranaut has been leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. Today, Rangoli Chandel, the sister of Kangana Ranaut, took to her Instagram to share a latest picture of her sister and her striking resemblance to the late actress-turned-politician Jayalalithaa is sure to leave you awestruck.
Coming on the poster, Kangana Ranaut is seen wearing white saree with black and red stripes. With her hair tied up in a bun, round red bindi on her forehead and matching earrings, Kangana looks like Jayalalithaa.
Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film Thalaivi also stars Aravind Swami, Poorna and Madhubala in the supporting roles. , Arvind Swami will be playing the role of iconic actor-politician MG Ramachandran whereas Poorna will be seen as Sasikala. The movie Thalaivi is being helmed by AL Vijay and is jointly bankrolled by Vishnu Induri and Shaailesh R Singh.
