Akash Puri’s second film ‘Romantic’ directed by debutant Anil Paduri is gearing up for grand release very soon. According to the latest update, the makers of Romantic are going to make an official announcement regarding the release date of Akash Puri starrer which has Ketika Sharma as the leading lady. The makers confirmed the same by sharing a new poster and revealed that announcement regarding the release date of Romantic will be made on 1st March at 10 am.

Romantic lady Ketika Sharma  is a social media star from Delhi who rose to fame because of her viral Dubsmash videos in 2017.

Akash Puri made his debut with the film ‘Mehbooba’ in which he played a young college student and soldier both. In this upcoming film  ‘Romantic’, Akash Puri will be playing the role of a slum-dweller. The film is  being helmed by Anil Paduri and is jointly backed  by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme under their Puri Connects banner.

Baahubali girl Ramya Krishna is playing a powerful role in the film Romantic and it is being heard that she will be essaying Akash Puri’ mom. iSmart Shankar and Temper fame Puri Jagannadh has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues  of Romantic .

He played a lead role in Andala Ramudu, which was released in 2006 and later went on to star in several movies including commercial successes like Maryada Ramanna, Poola Rangadu, and Tadakha.

Dil Raju buys Naandhi remake rights @ Rs 2.75 Cr

Allari Naresh and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar starrer recently released dark court room drama Naandhi,  is doing decent collections at the box office. According to the latest report, note producer Dil Raju has bought the remake rights of Allari Naresh starrer Naandhi and is planning to make the movie in four languages- Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

The sources close to the makers of Naandhi confirmed that  Dil Raju has bagged the remake rights of film Naandhi in four languages for about Rs 2.75 Crore which includes Kannada, Hindi, Tamil,  and Malayalam remake rights.

The reports are coming that Dil Raju is planning to collaborate with a popular production house in Bollywood to remake Naandhi in Hindi.

According to the traders report, the movie Naandhi collected over Rs 5.28 Crore share at the box office.

Mega producer Allu Aravind’s Aha acquired OTT rights of the film Naandhi  for Rs 2.5 Crores.

Allari Naresh starrer Naandhi is directed by debutant Vijay Kanakamedala and  is backed by Satish Vegesna. The film was released on 19 February 2021 and it starred Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Harish Uthaman, Vinay Varma, and Praveen in the supporting roles. Naandhi is all about the story of an under trial prisoner who is waiting for verdict from the court.

However, the netizens have been trolling the actress Meena, the leading lady of Drishyam 2, for her make up in the movie Drishyam 2. The movie lovers have been criticizing Meena’ perfect looks in the movie, in which she plays a middle aged Malayali homemaker. During the media interaction, Jeethu Joseph talked about  the trolling of actress Meena and revealed that he agrees with the netizens.

The trolls have pointed out that Meena sports bright lipstick and perfectly blow dried hair even in the scenes where her character goes through the worst mental trauma.

 The director Jeethu Joseph said that he himself pointed to Meena that she was trolled even in Drishyam. And her character in Drishyam 2 also required a de-glam look but she was upset and she did not agree with his idea and even got upset when he insisted on sporting a de-glamorous look. Meena said that she was not comfortable with a de glamorous look.

Jeethu Joseph, who believes that the actor’s comfort is the most important factor behind a good performance, finally had to agree with the decision of Meena.

A popular YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswanth, the boy friend of ex Bigg Boss 4 Telugu contestant Deepthi Sunaina, was caught red handed in drunk and drive case by the Jubilee Hills Police. The police arrested Shanmukh Jaswanth and booked a case against him  for causing injury due to rash and negligent driving under the Indian Penal Code and for drunk driving under the Motor Vehicles Act.

The Police also arrested Shanmukh Jaswanth’ friend who was with him during the incident. The police are investigating the case.

Shanmukh Jaswanth was  arrested at Jubilee Hills for driving under the influence of alcohol and hitting a motorbike. As Shanmukh reached Road no: 36 in Jubilee hills and he lost control of the car.  Locals and bystanders called the Police  and he  was arrested. The cops have arrested him as his car hit a motor bike, injuring one person.

The traffic police revealed that  the car was seized after he was found to have consumed the  alcohol in excess of the dose at the time of the accident and  he was found to have 170 points on a breath analyzer test.

Adipurush, an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, will star Young Rebel Star Prabhas in the lead role whereas Saif Ali Khan will play a villain.  The announcement regarding Adipurush was made in mid-August last year. In the month of  September, it was announced that Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will play the principal antagonist in the film, Lankesh.

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon will be seen as goddess Sita in this high budget pan-India movie. According to the latest updates, the star hero  Prabhas will start  the shooting for his part of  Adipurush  with an action sequence in the first week of month March in Mumbai. Currently, Baahubali fame  Prabhas is training hard to build a bulky body  for playing the lead role in Om Raut’ directorial venture Adipurush.

Saif Ali Khan  and the film’s director Om Raut have previously worked together in the historic movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Saif Ali Khan played the villain there too, essaying the role of Mughal general, Uday Bhan Rathod. Reacting to the news of Saif Ali Khan playing Ravana in Adipurush, Prabhas had said, “I am very excited about working with a talented actor like Saif Ali Khan.”

The film Adipurush will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 400 Cr. A huge amount of the money will be spent on VFX, which will be an important part of Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer.

The entire shoot of Vakeel Saab, which is helmed by Venu Sriram, has been wrapped up and currently it is in the post production stage and it is slated to hit the theaters on 9th April 2021.

The makers have already sold out the  Vakeel Saab’ satellite rights and digital streaming rights successfully. The digital rights of Pawan Kalyan and Shruti Haasan starrer Vakeel Saab is grabbed by Amazon Prime Video  and now according to the latest report,  the film will be available on the platform in the last week of May month.

The sources close to the makers revealed that  the makers of Vakeel Saab made an agreement that Pawan Kalyan starrer film should be made available on the platform – Amazon Prime Video only after the 50 days of the theatrical release

The film  Vakeel Saab, which is jointly bankrolled by  Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, also has Nivetha Thomas, who  has stepped into the shoes of Taapsee Pannu, Ananya Nagalla  and Anjali  have reprised the roles of Andrea Tariang and Kirti Kulhari from the original Hindi film.

Few weeks ago, Shruti Haasan was  in the news for her relationship with her rumored boyfriend Santanu Hazarika. Recently, Santanu Hazarika and his friends threw a surprise birthday party for Shruti Haasan,  and Gabbar Singh lady took to Instagram to share several pictures from the birthday bash.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan is all set to collaborate with popular director Shankar for a pan-India movie  which will be backed by noted producer Dil Raju. According to a report, the budget of Ram Charan and Shankar’ film is Rs 150 Cr.

The sources say that initially Dil Raju wanted to make this movie on the budget of Rs 100 Cr and when  he informed Shankar for the budget,  2.0 helmer said that this budget is good enough for the songs alone. Since it’s Dil Raju’ 50th film as a producer, he  has taken it as a matter of prestige.

Apparently, Dil Raju has fixed Rs 150 cr as the budget of Ram Charan and Shankar’ film.  The sources say that the film may be able to recover the investment pretty easily. Shankar enjoys a strong fan following in most markets due to pan-India movies such as Robo  and 2.0. His movie Anniyan too is reasonably popular in the Hindi belt.
Ram Charan too enjoys a strong fan following due to his work in movies- Magadheera and Rangasthalam.

Currently Ram Charan is working for RRR- Rise Roar Revolt and Shankar is busy in Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal.

Yaari With Rana. The makers recently shot a teaser at Rama Naidu Studios on Rana Daggubati.

According to the latest report, the makers of No.! Yaari With Rana are planning to air new episodes in  the month of March. However, an official confirmation is awaited  regarding the date.

The first season of No.! Yaari With Rana was launched in the year  2017 which saw the who’s who of Tollywood bigwigs.  The new season was launched on 13^th March 2020,  which was affected by the lockdown due to  Coronavirus. The show was suspended due to the same reason.

It is known news that Rana Daggubati got  married to his ladylove Miheeka Bajaj in the month of  August, 2020 and got busy with other projects, too. According to the latest report, Niharika Konidela  starrer Tamil film with Vijay Sethupathi, titled O Manchi Roju Chusi Chepta, is gearing up for grand release on 19th March.

The film O Manchi Roju Chusi Chepta is helmed by Arumuga Kumar and the makers are planning to cash the craze of Vijay Sethupathi, who  is basking on the glory of his previous offerings- Master, and Uppena.  Venkata Swamy is hoping that the Telugu viewers will definitely make the film a big hit.

O Manchi Roju Chusi Chepta  also has Goutham Karthik, Gayatri Shankar, VG Chandrasekhar, Ramesh Tilak and others in the crucial role, and it is bankrolled by Apollo Production whereas it has the music by Justin Prabhakaran. Cinematography is handled by Saravanan and the editing is done by R Govinda Raj.

The distribution rights of Telugu version of  Niharika and Vijay Sethupathi starrer film was owned by Dr Ravuri Venkata Swamy of Apollo productions and presented by Sri Ravuri Allikeshwari. The movie is a remake of the Tamil hit ‘Oru Nalla Nal Pothu Soleran’.

A1 Express is an upcoming sports comedy film directed by Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad.  The film has Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles whereas Posani Krishna Murali, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Raghu Babu, Abhijeeth Poondla, Sriranjini and Saty are playing the supporting roles.

Lavanya Tripathi is playing Sundeep Kishan’s love interest in the movie. A1 Express marks 25th film of Sundeep Kishan and is based on Hockey.  According to the latest report, Suma Kanakala has given commentary for the crucial episode of Hockey Match, which is said to be  one of the major highlights of A1 Express.

The upcoming film A1 Express deals with the issues of corruption and nepotism in the sports.  The recently released trailer of the film that had  opened with chants of Vande Mataram, promised to show Sandeep Kishan’ character as a hockey player who tried his best to restore  lost glory of the national sport of India, which is hockey.

Helmed by  Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu, the film has music by Hiphop Tamizha and the film will hit the theaters on 5th March.

Few days ago, the makers of Naarappa, made official announcement regarding the release date and it will hit the theaters on 14th May 2021. Helmed by filmmaker Srikanth Addala, the film Naarappa follows the story of an oppressed caste family and how they overcome their problems caused by a rich landlord of a higher caste.

It is known news that Megastar Chiranjeevi and Kajal Aggarwal starrer  Acharya is slated to hit the theaters on 13th May. To avoid the  clash, the makers of Naarappa are planning to lock a comfortable release date.

The reports are coming that the makers of  Naarappa are planning to release the movie on 30th April. This is the same date, which was locked by Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam. The upcoming action drama Virata Parvam will be moved to a later date as per the update.  Venkatesh is all set to grab Rana Daggubati’ Virata Parvam’ date for the comfortable release of Naarappa.

Naarappa, which is a revenge drama is is directed by Srikanth Addala and is the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Asuran in which Dhanush played the lead role.

On the work front, Kajal Aggarwal is currently with Megastar Chiranjeevi in an upcoming film Acharya,  in which Ram Charan is playing a cameo and it is being helmed by Koratala Siva.  Meanwhile Samantha Akkineni is waiting for the release of her digital show ‘The Family Man’ season 2.  Oh Baby and Majili fame actress  recently wrapped up a schedule of ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal’  which has Vijay Sethupathi and lady superstar Nayantara in the lead roles.

Samantha is all set to join the sets of  Gunasekhar’s upcoming mythological drama ‘Shakuntalam’, in which she is playing the titular role.

Rana Daggubati who is known for acting in Baahubali series, The Ghazi Attack and Nene Raju Nene Mantri, will soon return to entertain on the small screen.  Rana Daggubati is making his come back to small screen for the third season of No.! Yaari With Rana. The makers recently shot a teaser at Rama Naidu Studios on Rana Daggubati.

According to the latest report, the makers of No.! Yaari With Rana are planning to air new episodes in  the month of March. However, an official confirmation is awaited  regarding the date.

The first season of No.! Yaari With Rana was launched in the year  2017 which saw the who’s who of Tollywood bigwigs.  The new season was launched on 13^th March 2020,  which was affected by the lockdown due to  Coronavirus. The show was suspended due to the same reason.

It is known news that Rana Daggubati got  married to his ladylove Miheeka Bajaj in the month of  August, 2020 and got busy with other projects, too. On the work front, Rana Daggubati is currently working for the upcoming film Virata Parvam which has Sai Pallavi as the leading lady. He is also playing the lead role in Haathi Mere Saathi/ Aranya.

It is known news that Deepika Padukone will be seen playing the female lead in an upcoming science fiction drama which has Prabhas in the lead role and it will be helmed by Nag Ashwin. On Thursday night, Deepika Padukone was spotted outside the restaurant Tori in Mumbai’s Khar.

The photos and videos of Deepika Padukone being mobbed by a few women trying to sell tissues outside the restaurant, who were waiting outside for a glimpse of the actress, went viral on the social media. She was seen in a pair of distressed denims, a crop top and an off-shoulder jacket. She was also seen carrying a chic red hand bag.

Deepika Padukone was mobbed by a group of women who also tried to pull at her hand bag. The harassed looking actress was soon helped by her security team.

In the viral video, Deepika Padukone is seen taken aback by the crowd outside the restaurant as she was about to exit the eatery.  Deepika Padukone attempted to navigate her way through the crowd, she found her bag being pulled away in the crowd.  In the video, Deepika Padukone is seen saying “Ek minute, ek minute….”  Prabhas’ actress is seen struggling to secure her bag in the video.
