We have already reported that F2 Fun and Frustration stars- Venkatesh Daggubati and Varun Tej have lent their vocals for Telugu version of Disney’s live action remake of 1992’s ‘Aladdin’. While Varun Tej gave his voice for the role of Aladdin, Venkaktesh lent his voice for ‘Genie’. Recently Venkatesh Dagubati attended a press meet and talked about the dubbing experience. He said. “At one point of time, I got totally irritated and left the dubbing room.”
Speaking at the press meet in Hyderabad, Venkatesh said, “Will Smith is playing the genie, Mena Massoud as the titular character and Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine. Will Smith’ performance is very impressive and to dub for his character was a difficult talk for me. At one point of time, I got totally irritated and left the dubbing room. But later I came back to the dubbing room and accepted it like a challenge and completed the dubbing.” On the other side, Varun Tej said, “ I am very happy as I got the opportunity to dub for the most-favorite character ‘Aladdin’. The movie is all set to release on 24 May 2019 across the world.
The movie featuring Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen, directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
