Recently Janhvi Kapoor spoke about how her sister Anshula Kapoor has been trolled mercilessly for not helping her win a game on Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan. She was seen on the show with Arjun Kapoor.

With an increase in online users, there is also a rise in hate comments. Our Desi girl Priyanka Chopra hosted a live-athon, at Facebook’s Mumbai office on Monday where she discussed the wonders and perils of social media and discussed the positives and negatives of social media sites. Many celebrities participated like Janhvi Kapoor, Mallika Dua, Gurmehar Kaur, Ishaan Khatter, Armaan Malik, Bhuvan Bam, Diljit Dosanjh and Ayushmann Khurrana joined Priyanka Chopra for the discussion on social media.
Priyanka Chopra also shared her experience of dealing with trolls and Janhvi Kapoor talked about rape threat.
Janhvi Kapoor, who was present too, revealed that her half-sister Anshula Kapoor received rape threats over something that happened on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan.
Janhvi Kapoor added that Anshula Kapoor did something silly on Koffee with Karan and started getting rape threats. And it was just weird to her. She further said, “As the people are faceless on the social media sites, they feel they can have opinions that sometimes cross a moral line.”
Arjun Kapoor wrote on Twitter, “Something I assumed was an absolute non issue on Koffee with Karan has escalated into @anshulakapoor being abused & I can’t be bothered by protocol anymore. F**k all those trolls who wish harm to my sister. I hope ur mom or sister never have to go thru what u have put us thru…”
