Venky Mama has done a steady business in both Telugu  states despite facing competition from two other releases such as Ruler and Prati Roju Pandage. According to the latest report, the multistarrer  Venky Mama, produced by Suresh Babu has collected Rs  35.06 Cr Shares  at the worldwide box office after the successful run of 16 days.

Distributors ready to chip huge amounts for RRR Rights but Rajamouli not ready

The two top stars of  Telugu film Industry-  Young Tiger Jr NTR and Mega Power Star  Ram Charan are coming together with an upcoming film RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of SS Rajamouli. Recently Rajamouli has also confirmed that he has wrapped up 80 percent of the shoot. RRR is the most highly anticipated film of 2020. Till date  Rajamouli hasn’t released anything from  his directorial venture RRR as it creates much hype about the film amongst the audiences.  Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the  distributors from various regions are ready to chip huge amounts to grab RRR rights but SS Rajamouli is not ready for it.

The sources say that despite some biggest offers being doled out, the business of RRR is not being done. Though distributors from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Bollywood are ready to pay the huge amount to acquire the rights of RRR, producer DVV Danayya and SS Rajamouli  are not ready to close the deals of RRR starring  Ram Charan and Jr NTR.

 According to the latest update, SS Rajamouli is working with producer DVV Danayya on a partnership basis, and Baahubali filmmaker SSRajamouli doesn’t want to close the business now because he is thinking that after the release of trailer, they can fetch more money rather selling it now. so the business of RRR is kept on hold.

 RRR is a big budget drama and the entire nation’s eyes are on  SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture. RRR is said to take place in the pre-independence era and is reportedly about freedom fighters. Alia Bhatt has been roped  to play the female lead opposite Ram Charan and she will be seen as Sita.  Brahmastra actress has already wrapped up the shoot of her part.

Ram Charan is essaying Alluri Seetharamaraju  in RRR, which also has Ajay Devgn  and Samuthirakani in supporting roles.  MM Keeravani is rendering the tune.

While work on the script of Varun Tej’s upcoming untitled film is on in full swing, the makers of this film are on the verge of taking the film to the next level. It is known news that upcoming untitled film is set against a boxing backdrop in which Varun Tej will be seen doing boxing under the direction of Kiran Korrapati.  Now according to the latest update, the makers are roping a renowned Hollywood stuntman Larnell Stovall in Varun Tej starrer  to compose the fights.

Los Angeles-based Larnell Stovall, who has composed stunts for Bollywood films like the Salman Khan starrer Sultan, is known for breath-taking fight sequences in Hollywood movies and series, including Captain America, Civil War, Kick Boxer, Ride Along, etc. Now Larnell Stovall is all set to compose the fight sequences of Varun Tej starrer upcoming film.

Apparently the boxing-themed movie starring Varun Tej was supposed to start almost two years ago has finally taken off, which is being produced by Allu Bobby on his newly started banner.  It is heard that  Varun  Tej and Allu Bobby are hellbent on bringing new Hollywood touch for this upcoming film.

Larnell Stoval, under whom Varun Tej got trained in Los Angeles a year ago, has been roped now in this film.  The sources close to the film unit revealed that Allu Bobby insisted this Hollywood touch in order to bring versatility to Varun Tej starrer.

 Apparently, the boxing sequences will see Varun Tej facing many boxers, and Larnell Stoval is set to create realistic episodes on par with Hollywood standards. The film has  Ismart beauties Nabha Natesh and Nidhi Agerwal in the female leads.

Mega Prince Varun Tej was last seen in Gaddalakonda Ganesh, directed by Harish Shankar and jointly bankrolled by  Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, which was blockbuster at the box office.

We have already reported that the makers have already wrapped up the shoot of Sarileru Neekevvaru and Mahesh Babu has also completed the dubbing work for his character.   After wrapping up the dubbing formalities for Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu flew out of Hyderabad with his wife Namrata and Kids Gautham and Sitara for a holiday. According to the latest update, Mahesh Babu, Namrata and children Gautham and Sitara landed in Shirdi, Maharashtra on Sunday.

Namrata has been a regular visitor to the temple for a long time but this time Mahesh Babu also visited the temple.  Mahesh Babu, Namrata and their children offered special prayers to Shirdi Saibaba. Mahesh Babu’ close friend and director Meher Ramesh accompanied the Ghattamaneni family on their Shirdi visit.

Mahesh Babu sought blessings of Shirdi Baba ahead of his  action and romantic drama Sarileru Neekevvaru release.

Mahesh Babu and his family will soon fly to an undisclosed foreign destination to ring in the New Year. It is heard that they will make their comeback to the city Hyderabad in January first week and will start the promotional activities of Sarileru Neekevvaru immediately.

Recently the makers released Special song Daang Daang featuring Mahesh Babu and Tamannah Bhatia which is trending top on YouTube.

Sarileru Neekevvaru’ pre release event will be held in a grand manner on 5th January, from 5:04 pm onwards at LB Stadium, Hyderabad. Megastar Chiranjeevi will grace the event of Mahesh Babu starrer as the chief guest.  Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead. The film Sarileru Neekevvaru is gearing up for grand release worldwide on 11th January 2020.

Ferozepur police have registered an FIR against  Prabhas’ lady crush and Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of a community during a television show. This is the second FIR registered against  Raveen Tandon. According to the latest update, a second FIR has been registered within a week in Punjab not against actress Raveena Tandon, but also against the  director-choreographer Farah Khan and comedian Bharti Singh for hurting the religious sentiments of a community.

On Wednesday, Amritsar police booked the trio in an FIR registered at Ajnala police station on complaint of Sonu Jafar, president of Christian Front in Ajnala.  Kamboj Nagar resident filed a complaint against  Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh. He alleged that the religious sentiments of Christian community have been hurt.

Amritsar Rural SSP Vikramjeet Duggal said, “We have registered a case against the three and investigations are being held.” There have been protests at some places in the state Punjab against the three (Raveena Tandon, Farah Khan and Bharti Singh) by Christian outfits. The trio have also been booked in Beed city of Maharashtra in connection with the show aired on the occasion of Christmas.

Raveen Tandon took to her Twitter and  said, “Please do watch this link. I have not said a word that can be interpreted as an insult to any religion. We three- Farah Khan, Bharti Singh and I never intended to offend anyone, but in case we did, my most sincere apologies to those who were hurt.

 Farah Khan had apologised through a tweet.

 It is known news that earlier in an interview, Prabhas has said, “ I have a secret crush on a popular ’90s Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon. I am a big a fan of Raveena! Every time I saw the song from Andaz Apna Apna – Elo ji sanam, I was like wow!”
