Prabhas bringing Rome in Hyderabad

After delivering successful movie Baahubali, Young Rebel star Prabhas joined the sets of his upcoming movie, the action entertainer Saaho, which is on the verge of completion. Apart from Saaho, Prabhas is also working with Radha Krishna’ upcoming directorial venture which is tentatively titled as Jaan. The team has already shot some crucial scenes in Italy in its first schedule. Now, the shooting will take place in Hyderabad. According to the latest update, 20 lavish sets are being erected under the supervision of Ravinder Reddy, in Annapurna Studios. The sources close to the film unit reveal that these sets have been designed to recreate the ambience of historical city Rome and the makers are spending Rs 60 Cr for the sets. The artwork is said to be one of the major highlight of Prabhas starrer Jaan. The movie would mark Prabhas’ 20th film in Tollywood.

#Prabhas20 has Pooja Hegde as female lead and it is being bankrolled by Gopi Krishna movies in association with UV creations. Due to Prabhas’ pan Indian appeal, the film will be made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, we hear.

Amit Trivedi is on the board to compose the tunes for this flick, with Manoj Pramahamsa handling the cinematography.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has the magnum opus Saaho in his kitty. The shooting of the film is reportedly in the final stages. Saaho, directed by Sujeeth, is bankrolled by V. Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations on a budget of Rs 300 Cr.  Sharddha Kapoor is playing the female lead and apart from the lead pair, the film has other stares like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lal,  Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay, Mandira Bedi, Vennela Kishore, Mahesh Manjrekar and Chunkey Pandey in supporting roles.

Prabhas starrer Saaho is slated for release on the Independence Day, 15^th August 2019.

Propaganda by Rajamouli is scandalous

SS Rajamouli’ directorial venture Baahubali series (Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2:The Conclusion) raked in massive moolah at the box office. The world that has seen Baahubali can’t stop going gaga over the kind of money the historical and war drama collected at the box office. Recently it was heard that Arka Media which produced Baahubali Series has filed a case against SN Rajarajan of K Production House over unpaid dues for theatrical rights of the movie. In the legal notice, Baahubali production house Arka Media Works mentioned that Rajarajan is yet to settle Rs 17.7 Cr. Now SN Rajarajan has reacted on this issue and has denied Baahubali producers claim. SN Rajarajan released a statement and said, “The propaganda carried out by Baahubali production house Arka Media works is a malignant, prejudicial and scandalous. They want to defame K Productions.”

In an official statement, proprietor of SN Rajarajan’ K Production says, “Arka Media Works is trying to demean their distribution & production company. We deny the claims of Arka Media works. K Productions have incurred heavy losses as Arka Media works have breached the agreements and for which we have claims against Arka Media works which will be prosecuted. We appeal to all not to be carried away by the above said wrongful propaganda of Arka Media works.”

Rajamouli’ Baahubali series was declared a blockbuster hit after it churned out massive numbers.  The movie starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia and Ramya Krishna.

Currently Rajamouli is busy in his upcoming movie RRR in which Young Tiger Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt are playing the leads role and Ajay Devgn will be seen in crucial role. The movie is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.

 Rajamouli’ directorial venture is scheduled to hit the theaters on 30th July 2020.

Rana Daggubati turns naxalite

The most talented and handsome hunk of Tollywood, Rana Daggubati is popular for playing variety of roles. Rana Daggubati entered into film industry with the movie ‘Leader’ and later acted in various Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films.  Now  Rana Daggubati is getting ready to play the role of a Naxalite in his upcoming movie.

Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati has joined hands with Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha, for an upcoming project, which is touted to be a political thriller.

 According to the latest buzz in the film industry, the movie revolves around Rana Daggubati who turns a naxalite to fight against the corruption. The film is tentatively titled as ‘Virata Paravam 1992’ . Set in a vintage backdrop, this period drama takes place in the year 1992 and reflects the socio-political conditions of the society at that time. Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi is on the board to play the love interest of Rana Daggubati and Tabu will be seen playing human rights activist.

 It is heard that Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer Virata Parvam 1992 will be a romance film, but will also have a lot of action and politics included to make the narration interesting.

 Earlier, it was heard that Nithiin and later Sharwanand were in talks to play the role of naxalite in it, but eventually, the role went to the Baahubali star Rana Daggubati.

 Rana Daggubati was last seen in NTR biopic, where he essayed the role of Chandrababu Naidu whereas in Tollywood, Sai Pallavi was last seen in  Hanu Raghavapudi directorial Padi Padi Leche Manasu, in which Sharwanand played the lead role. It was bankrolled by  Prasad Chukkapalli and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.

Apart from ‘Virata Paravam 1992’, Rana Daggubati is also the part of Bollywood movie Housefull 4 and trilingual drama Haathi Mere Saathi.
