Why 1980 Ravi Teja?

Ravi Teja is  teaming up with EPC and Okka Kshanam fame director VI Anand for his next upcoming project. According to the latest update, Disco Raja is a period film and that the entire story will take place in the 1980s. Everyone is curious to know Why this movie is set in 1980s period?

 It is known news that Sukumar made village based drama Rangasthalam starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja and Samantha Akkineni, which was blockbuster at the box office and it was also publicised as a period drama set in 1980s era. Now Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has also finalized 1980 era.

 The sources close to VI Anand reveal that Ravi Teja will be seen in complete retro avatar in this film. He will be seen playing dual role in this film, which has been titled as Disco Raja. The regular shoot of the film is expected to start very soon.

 The title logo of Ravi Teja’s Disco Raja will be launched very soon. The makers have roped two actresses – RX100 fame Payal Rajput and Nannu Dochukunduvate actress Nabha Natesh to play the female lead roles in this film, which will have the music by SS Thaman.

 As the title of the film is Disco Raja, the movie lovers can expect it to have all the fun elements we are accustomed to expect from a Ravi Teja movie.

Ravi Teja has increased his speed in accepting movie and we are going to see him do as many as he can now.

He was last seen in Amar Akbar Anthony, helmed by Srinu Vaitla, in which Goan beauty Ileana D’Cruz played the female lead role. After a long gap of 6 Years, the actress made her comeback in Telugu Film Industry with Ravi Teja starrer but the film was bombed at the box office.

No Father, No Brothers for Nandamuri Suhasini

Nandamuri Suhasini, the daughter of former Rajya Sabha MP  Nandamuri Harikrishna and the  grand-daughter of TD founder N T Rama Rao is contesting from Kukatpally constituency on TDP ticket.  She is not getting any support from her brothers Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Jr NTR. Both the actors are busy in their filmy career and they don’t have the time for Nandamuri Suhasini. Earlier it was heard that Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram will participate in the election campaign for their sister but they are busy in their career.

Harikrishna, a leader of TDP and former minister and former MP, died in a road accident on 29th August. Though Jr  NTR and Kalyan Ram expressed their best wishes for their sister’s victory via their tweets but they are not participating in the election campaign.

In 2009, Jr NTR has participated in the election campaigning for TDP and he proved his special mark influencing people to a larger extent. But this time, he is not coming in the support of her sister Nandamuri Suhasini. On the other side, Swathi, the wife of her brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram campaigned with Suhasini on Friday.

Recently Nandamuri Suhasini was criticized for her speeches. During her campaign on Friday Kukatpally TD candidate Nandamuri Suhasini said she was unfamiliar with speaking at political events. She said,  “I can speak in Telugu fluently, but I am not used to the political vocabulary. I am facing the problem because I was told not to use English words in the media conferences and the public meetings.”

Nandamuri Suhasini added she would not make major promises but show it in development work but assured to get a hospital constructed, improve the drainage system and take up the other works.

Elections to 119-member Telangana Assembly are scheduled on 7th December.

No Comedy from Vennela Kishore in NTR Biopic

Vennela Kishore, the popular comedian has been roped in upcoming much awaited movie- NTR biopic (NTR Kathanayakudu) to play the role of NTR’s Manager.  It is known news that Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the lead role and will be seen playing his father, legendary actor and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh – Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR).The source say that Vennela Kishore will not be doing any comedy.

Vennela Kishore is playing the role of Rukmanandha Rao, NTR’s manager in Blakarishna starrer. Rukmanadha Rao was also the brother of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam.

 The sources say that Krish, the director of NTR biopic, is planning to can few crucial scenes between Balakrishna and Vennela Kishore.

 Vennela Kishore made his Telugu debut with Vennela in 2005. His popular movies are Bindass, Pilla Zamindar, Daruvu, Seema Tapakai, Badshah, Doosukeltha, Pandaga Chesko, Srimanthudu, Bale Bale Magadivoy, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada (EPC), and Ami Thumi.

NTR biopic, which is being made in two parts, is being bankrolled by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri whereas it has the music by MM Keeravani. NTR Kathanayakudu is slated to hit theaters on 9th January 2018.

Rana Daggubati to voice for Sumanth

Rana Daggubati is giving his voice for Sumanth starrer upcoming movie Subrahmanyapuram, which is gearing up for grand release very soon.

According to the latest updates, young hero Rana Daggubati has given a voice-over in several crucial scenes of Subrahmanyapuram. On the other hand, the makers are planning to release the thriller drama in as many as 500 screens across both Telugu states and over 100 screens in the US, making it the biggest ever release in Sumanth’s career.

 Sumanth charmed his fans and movie lovers with his romantic drama Malliraava. Now, he is getting ready to keep the audience on the edge of their seat with thriller Subrahmanyapuram.

Subrahmanyapuram, a supernatural thriller drama, is directed by debutant Santhossh Jagarlapudi, and produced by  Sudhakar Reddy Beera, is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th December. Eesha Rebba is playing the love interest of Sumanth.

Recently during the media interaction, Sumanth said, “The director Santhossh impressed me with his narration and I am confident about the film’s success as well.”

 On the otherside, Director Santossh Jagarlapudi described Sumanth starrer Subrahmanyapuram as a “devotional thriller” and clarified that the film is not a sequel to Karthikeya.

 Meanwhile Rana Daggubati is busy in his upcoming Hindi movie Housefull 4. He is also playing the role of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in NTR biopic, in the direction of Krish, which is arriving at the theaters in the month of January next year.

Rana Daggubati had also dubbed the south version of Avengers – Infinity War for the role of Thanos. The talented actor was joined by Avengers star Tom Hiddleston, Justice League‘s The Flash aka Ezra Miller and Harry Potter stars James Phelps and Oliver Phelps.

Earlier, after dubbing Avengers: Infinity War for Telugu version, Rana daggubati said, “The Characters such as Iron Man and Captain America have been my favourites.”
